Saturday Workshop In Person: Springtime Birdbath with Dena Rosenberg
April 1, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm$55.00 – $65.00
If you are interested in learning broderie perse and needle turn applique, or perfecting your technique, plan to join Dena in this full day workshop filled with creative fun!
In Dena’s Springtime Birdbath, you will not find your great great grandmother’s version of broderie perse – while it is a cherished technique that has been around for hundreds of years, Dena has brought it into the 21st century in a fresh and contemporary way!
Supply List (The required kit is $35, purchased direct from Dena at the start of the workshop by cash or credit card, and includes everything for the top except the binding. This is a handwork class, so no need to bring your machine.)
If you would like to participate in this workshop, but prefer to use a fusible web technique, Dena will be happy to have you join in the fun! She will demonstrate the fusible technique during class and you can complete the button hole stitch at home. If you plan to focus on this technique, please bring Shades Textiles Soft Fuse with you – it is the best fusible for this workshop. If you need to purchase it, please click on the link and buy it direct from Stacy Michell, a long-time supporter of our guild.
