Tara Faughnan is a professional freelance textile designer, well known for her modern quilt designs, and we are excited that she will be joining us virtually for a lecture and workshop.
In Tara’s morning lecture, Creating Color Palettes, she will help us build our color confidence. Tara will share her approach to putting color palettes together, and discuss the importance of value, contrast, and proportion to the overall look of the quilt. She will also delve into the mystery of why a beautiful palette can fall apart as soon as you cut into it and begin to sew. Tara will share lots of tips and tricks and everyone will have an opportunity to ask questions.
