We continue to welcome new members to our guild!  In January, 14 new members attended their first meeting – 4 joined when they walked in the door.  We also had 4 visitors – welcome to you all.  Our awesome greeters gave our guests information about the guild, took them around to see all the guild displays, and made sure they were seated – sometimes with their friend who they came with!

Our guild is quite active and there are many ways to become connected.  If you are a newcomer, it can be a little challenging to decide how to get started, both meeting other quilters and learning about all the guild does. This year we are planning a series of quarterly Zoom meetings to introduce our new members to various activities of our Guild.  We also hope it will be a way for them to “meet” new people and put names and faces together, and answer questions you may have about our guild.

Our first Zoom meeting will be Monday, February 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. For this meeting, we will be talking about our Program lineup for 2025 and Community Service activities.  We are fortunate to have wonderful speakers each year.  Often speakers also have workshops, which are a great way to learn new techniques and skills.  We are so proud of our ability to serve our community through Community Service activities.  It’s amazing to see what we are able to do each year, and we get lots of interest from you – our new members.

You don’t have to be a new member to attend the Zoom meeting – all members are welcome.  No sign up is necessary. New members should have received an email with the login information. If not, please email Linda Lopez at the link below.

We look forward to seeing you at our Zoom meeting.  For questions, please contact Linda Lopez at welcome@ecqg.com.
