In case you missed it, we’re having a quilt show! Georgia Celebrates Quilts® runs from June 4 to June 6, 2026, at the Cobb County Civic Center. Quilt entry begins on January 1, 2026; it’s time to start that show quilt!
The committee chairs for Georgia Celebrates Quilts® 2026 were recognized at the March meeting. Quilt Show Co-chairs Steve and Linda Agnello appreciate their commitment to ECQG and to the quilt show. For the list of committee chairs, see below.
Join the 2026 QS Committee! Only three open positions remain, and Linda and Steve would like to fill them soon, even though most of the committees’ work doesn’t begin until January 2026. Most meetings will be held on Zoom. Committee members can count on having strong mentors and volunteers to support them as we move toward the show.
Here are the open positions:
- Raffle Quilt in-Person Sales – Brings the raffle quilt to guild meetings and coordinates raffle quilt ticket sales at guild-related events.
- Volunteers – Uses Sign Up Genius and spreadsheets to organize volunteer signups for all show activities.
- Basket Raffle – Collects donations from guild members and the best of the Free Table to present around 30 beautiful and craveable themed baskets. This committee needs a co-chair who attends the morning Guild meeting. Evening guild member Aliki Strakes will be your co-chair.
